Alabama or Ohio State? Its actually an easy pick.

With 3 out of 4 playoffs spots confirmed it is down to two teams for the last spot in the College Football Playoff. Clemson, Oklahoma, and surprisingly Georgia all sealed their fate on Saturday with decisive wins in each of their conference championship games. This left Wisconsin as the #4 spot if they could pull off a win against Ohio State, long story short they could not and proceeded to throw their playoff hopes into the trash. Leaving a certain team from Tuscalousa to be in a prime position to take over as the last team in the playoff. But it was a bit of a conflict of interest with the Buckeyes becoming the Big Ten champion and improving their resume to make one last push for the same spot leaving all Alabama fans in cardiac arrest until the final decision is made by the committee. No need to worry Alabama fans, you will make the #4 spot as long as the committee isn't corrupt and tries to screw you out of the playoff, far fetched i know but check what happened to Penn State a few years ago being snubbed for, you guessed it, Ohio State. Funny enough Ohio State is about to have the same thing happen to them. Penn State won the conference championship but had one loss that would derail their playoff hopes with a blowout loss against Michigan. The same thing could happen to Ohio State. Now some analysts are trying any way they can to have something to talk about for all the hours until the decision is finally made, aka ESPN. There is no way Ohio State should be put in the playoff over Alabama. Although they both have quality wins the true downfall for Ohio State is in their losses. The bucks traveled to Iowa in week 9 to face the Hawkeyes in what should have been a easy game and increase their chances to make it in the top 4 later in the season. It did not go the way they hoped. Ohio State got absolutely dominated and lost by 31 points. They lost to a average 7-5 team who were fighting to make a bowl game. This is the prime factor that should and most likely will keep Ohio out of the playoff, and rightfully so. You cannot be in the college football playoff if you lost to a team by 30+ points, and especially if that team is a average team like Iowa. On the other side Alabama's only loss came to a top 10 Auburn team in Jordan-Hare stadium, the Iron bowl is one of the biggest and most significant rivalries in college football. I know Alabama hasn't beaten a lot of top 25 teams but they also put no doubt in their wins against every team they have played against who was not a top 25 team. At the end of the day you do not put in a 2 loss team who got blown out by a average team over Alabama and I hope the playoff committee feels the same way. You best believe if Nick Saban gets into the playoff he will get the most out of his team and might even pull of a upset or two. We shall see.
